What are the benefits of a Utah CFP?
Although Utah is an open carry state, there are a few restrictions. when carrying without a permit your firearm must be openly visible at all times you are in public. Furthermore, your firearm has to be "Utah" unloaded (2 actions and no round in the chamber).
Your CFP allows you to choose how you carry. It gives you to option to carry openly or concealed, loaded or unloaded. It also trumps the GFSZA when in the state of Utah. And as a bonus, the $7.50 background check fee is waived when you purchase a firearm.
